In The Chat w/ DSTYLER: The Present & Future of Local Dance Music Scene

Meet 𝐃𝐒𝐓𝐘𝐋𝐄𝐑, the upcoming pioneer of the local house music scene.

DSTYLER has been making music for 8 years now. Chances are you’ve already heard his music through Spotify editorial playlists.

Taking superstars like Martin Gariix, Skrillex, David Guetta, KSHMR, and more as his inspiration, the vibe is everything that matters to this man.

We’re here to tell you a bit more about what DSTYLER has been cooking up lately.

We introduced him as a house music prodigy at the start, right? Well, he’s lately into non-EDM stuff as well. When not making house music, DSTYLER is experimenting with various genres such as pop, lofi, and more.

Axe 391 recently dropped Arcane EP which is a redefining chapter for Bangla music. Our boy, DSTYLE is featured in three tracks on that four track EP. Bhul Ronh from the EP is released already, the track features Trojar on the vocal. Two more coming next, Ochena featuring Graff8e, and Prem featuring Aunny.

DSTYLER named Martin Garrix as his most favourite artist of all time. Jalai Set, Arnob, Habib Wahid, and Minar are some of the local favourites of DSTYLER.

You’ll be seeing DSTYLER working on more Deshi stuff in the coming days. He hinted mainly at hip-hop and non-English music. So yes, no more electronic dance music for 2022 from DSTYLER. But don’t worry! Next year’s going to be full of EDM bangers, DSTYLER promised that.

DSTYLER asked politely to let the readers understand the difference between EDM and typical DJ remixes circulating around the local scene. DSTYLER asked not to post undeserving stuff online just because of the trend.

To be honest maximum people don’t know what is EDM and this is the main issue. Local events DJs are doing well but they are pushing the wrong image for public demand. So my message will be, to know the real EDM.
